SAHU is a local chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Our mission is to promote the highest standards of conduct and professionalism among the licensed agents and insurance professionals in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. We will accomplish this goal through public service, communication and education, legislative information and action, and a steadfast commitment to serving the public's best interest as representatives of the insurance industry. Our Next Meeting ...

Speaker: Mike Karaman with Karaman Communications   Mr Karamans company is a leading provider of TeleConferencing programs and equipment throughout the Fayetteville and Sandhills region of North Carolina. Many of our SAHU members are customers of Karaman Communications. Our next general membership meeting will be held on the 10th of March at 7:45 a.m. at Highland Country Club in Fayetteville, N.C. Our regular meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, however this meeting will be held on the second Tuesday since many representatives from the Sandhills Chapter will be in Raleigh visiting members of the General Assembly on Tuesday the 3rd of March. The charge for breakfast is $7 for members and $14 for guests. Members of other chapters and guests are welcome to attend.

Our Last Meeting.... 

Did you know that by adding dental and disability benefits to your group insurance package you can tremendously increase the persistency of your plan. Employees who have dental coverage are much happier with their medical package and have fewer medical claims.  If you didn't, you missed that and a ton of other great wellness info presented at our last meeting on February 3rd.  Greg Farrell, a well known marketer of ancilliary benefits with Met-Life presented us with the information to develop a well rounded benefit package that will serve employees and employers alike.
